About the laboratory for Applied Sciences
Laboratory for Applied Statistics was started January 1, 2013. The laboratory is a unit at the Department of Mathematical Sciences (MATH), and is primarily financed by SCIENCE.
The overall aim of the laboratory is to enhance the quality af statistical analyses in research carried out at SCIENCE.
We will continue the tradition from the former LIFE faculty, where it was possible for researchers and students to seek help for statistical problems, and further develop and extend cross-disciplinary activities at the SCIENCE faculty. This will happen through the following activities:
- Guidance of students and researchers
- Collaboration with researchers
